iData Kft is among the Best in Europe
iData Ltd, specialized in GPS tracking, was included among the 100 Top European private ventures, a list selected by Red Herring each year. No Hungarian company has ever made this achievement. Vatera managed to get as far as the third step in 2007 but that was the highest achievement so far. Ventures submitted for the prestigious award are evaluated in accordance with a rigorous 20-point system of criteria and firm conditions. Red Herring's team of experts reviewed more than a thousand leading technology companies this year and analysed solutions choosing firms which show explosive growth potential. Red Herring has been engaged in reviewing and supporting the most promising ventures on all continents since 1996.
Red Herring's award opens international platforms which may only be reached by local firms with great difficulty. It grants companies selected in the TOP 100 confidence. In order to succeed, a three-step process had to be completed with excellence. In February, ventures were reviewed thought a complex application process, which was then followed by a telephone interview from the US. The companies that got through these filters were provided with the opportunity to introduce themselves in a live presentation in Amsterdam on 8-10th April. iData's director of corporate development, Andras Szabo, gave a presentation about the company in front of hundreds of acclaimed technology investors and businessmen at this prestigeous event.
