Coffee prices may rise again
The listing price of the arabica coffee may increase by more than fifteen percent until the end of September 2016. The arabica coffee gives nearly two-thirds of the coffee consumption.
The demand for arabica coffee exceeds the supply for the second consecutive year – the Conclude Befektetési Zrt. told MTI.
In the season lasts until 30 September 2015, 84.6 million bags (1 bag = 60 kg) of Arabica coffee types can be harvested. The demannd is more than 4 million bags. In Brazil which is the world's largest producer of coffee an extended drought struck last year, causing less grown coffee. (MTI)
