PENNY once again won the Trade Excellence Award for Hungarian Products
PENNY Hungary has won the Hungarian Product Trade Excellence Award for the fourth time. The recognition rewarded the company’s consistent work: PENNY has stood out in the trade sector with its dedicated campaigns and awareness-raising activities in promoting domestic products and supporting Hungarian suppliers.
PENNY’s strategic goal is to favor domestic suppliers and products, thereby supporting the Hungarian economy, strengthening local communities and shortening the supply chain. The company actively supports domestic food production, with nearly two-thirds of its supply coming from domestic suppliers, so customers can take home fresh, reliable quality domestic goods every day.
Products bearing the Hungarian Product trademark also play a prominent role at PENNY. The independent expert verification of the trademark system is a guarantee for customers that the chosen product is of domestic origin and meets the strictest quality standards. Currently, more than 1,100 products, including 600 private label products, carry the trademark on PENNY’s shelves.
Hungarian origin is always an important aspect in the company’s developments: Hungarian products enjoy an advantage in tenders and supplier cooperation, and PENNY actively encourages its partners to use the trademark. This not only provides additional security for customers, but also contributes to the long-term stability, competitiveness and job creation of domestic manufacturers and producers, which stimulates the national economy.
According to customer feedback, domestic origin is the third most important aspect when choosing, after price and quality. PENNY reinforces this preference with dedicated campaigns and conscious attitude formation, so that the value of domestic products becomes even more visible to customers.
