Iran conflict – IBUSZ transported its passengers home from the Salalah area
The IBUSZ travel agency has repatriated its 189 passengers who were vacationing in the Salalah region of Oman, their last charter plane landed in Budapest, at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, on Friday evening – the agency informed MTI.
According to the travel agency’s website, the company – considering the safety of its passengers as a primary consideration – decided to suspend the operation of charter flights to Oman.
The participation fee paid for the canceled trips will be refunded in full within 14 days. However, the trip cancellation insurance fee is not refundable, given that the insurer’s risk coverage began at the time of the contract. However, the BBP (sickness, accident and baggage insurance) fee will be refunded to passengers.
The travel agency offers its affected passengers the option of rebooking for IBUSZ’s self-organized summer holidays starting between May 15 and October 15, 2026. In the case of reservations finalized by March 15, 2026, an additional 5 percent discount will be provided in addition to the current pre-booking prices.
