Ipsos: survey about the Union

The majority (55 percent) of the Hungarian population believes that the EU membership of Hungary brought them benefits.

One third of the people rather perceived disadvantages, and quite a lot people, 12 percent were not able to clearly decide on this issue. According to the responses of the domestic population Hungary’s EU preparedness can be said as mediocre.

Towards the European Union elections 40 percent of the Hungarian population has shown interest. the Poles (48 percent), the French (47 percent), and Italians (46 percent) have bigger interest. Thes ratio in the Netherlands is only 20 percent.
