Ipsos: we are searching for informations on the Internet
According to the international survey of Ipsos, conducted among netizens, we mainly get the requested informations on the Internet, if we want to know more about new brands and products.
If there is a surface, small or large, there is a marketer figuring out how to use it. Ads have appeared on eggs, bathroom stalls on and people's foreheads as well. Most of us learn about new brands from more predictable places though. Marketers take note: the top 3 ways to learn about brands and products. The internet ranks highest with 68 percent, followed by TV advertising with 61 percent, and then friends and family with 53 percent.
