Ipsos: consumers pay for the extra costs packaged in the promise of sustainability and freshness
Ipsos asked consumers in 26 countries, about the situations when they would pay more for food products because of the uniqueness of packaging.
The two main reasons, are: 55 percent of the surveyed responded if the “packaging is keeping food fresh” also 55 percent of the responded answered if the package is “environmentally friendly”, so in case of freshness and environmental protection, consumers are willing to pay more for the packaging of food – shows the latest global research of Ipsos Marketing.
