IPOSZ: there is no strong Hungarian economy without family micro and small businesses
Without family micro and small businesses, there is no strong Hungarian economy – said László Németh, president of the National Association of Industrial Associations (IPOSZ) on Wednesday, in Inárcs, at a ceremony to mark the 35th anniversary of the association. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated the organization on its anniversary in a letter.
“Everything is difficult for some, nothing is impossible for many. István Széchenyi’s thought could also be the motto of the three and a half decade history of their organization, as well as the almost century and a half tradition that they represent as an organization to protect the interests of Hungarian industrialists,”
wrote the Prime Minister, whose letter was read out to the gathering by László Németh.
“There are many of you who – including me – remember well even the difficult years of the start. The turbulent period of the change of regime, when many people distrusted Hungarian entrepreneurs. It took the hard work of entire generations for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to once again find their place, their calculations in our country, and become the main pillar of the Hungarian economy”
– the Prime Minister said.
“All this could hardly have been achieved without IPOSZ, which over the past 35 years has not only grown into a prestigious interest representation organization, but has also become one of the most reliable allies of Hungarian entrepreneurs. 155 industrial bodies, through them family workshops, hundreds of factories and tens of thousands of domestic entrepreneurs come together in you. So much so that today you concentrate all the knowledge, diligence, expertise, perseverance, courage and ingenuity that has been the engine of the Hungarian national economy in the past and present, and which will continue to drive the Hungarian national economy in the coming years and decades,”
wrote Viktor Orbán.
“Your success is therefore in the interest of all of Hungary. The government’s strategic goal is to further strengthen Hungarian businesses. We are working to ensure that your tax burdens remain low, that your financing options expand, and that you can start from an advantage rather than a disadvantage compared to your foreign competitors. We are counting on the assistance of IPOSZ in this work,” the Prime Minister said.
