Gourmets, head to McDonald’s!
Goose liver burger has returned to the domestic McDonald’s restaurants: The Goosey Gustav limited-edition specialty comes with two slices of 100 percent domestic goose liver.
Goose liver is a real specialty of Hungarian cuisine, so it is no accident that the Hungarikum Committee added it to the Hungarikum Collection in 2013. It is a lesser known fact that while domestic consumption of goose liver is considered to be the most festive delicacy, Hungary is the market leader in the production of goose liver in the world. 60-70 percent of the marketed volume comes from domestic farms.
