TESCO to sell clothes online
Tesco is to launch an online fashion store, committed to selling its own labels. Tesco had a sucessful trial last year, which demonstrated that there was demand for the online service.
The site, which is due to launch in
the autumn, will offer thousands of items. The new site has been
masterminded by Head of Clothing Terry Green and is expected to have
a different look to the existing Tesco.com websites. Tesco's
Commercial Director, Richard Brasher, said the new site "will be
designed to look different from any of our other online sites".
