Internet of Things: the netizens are getting acquainted with it
Although the Internet of Things (IoT) is one of today's most used expression, many people still do not know exactly what it actually covers.
This is also true to the adult Hungarian netizens as well: some of them are familiar with the term, but do not know the meaning of it; the other part of them is aware with the particular solutions, but can not connect these to the concept. However, netizens are open to the opportunities of IoT and, although so far very few people use these devices, 94 percent would like to try these, 37 percent are planning to buy such devices within the next five years – ENET – Telekom’s “Report on the Internet Economy” fresh prospecting reveals.
But what is the Internet of Things?
The 'Internet of Things', or in abbreviated form 'IoT' in English for 'things (objects) are devices that are accessible via the Internet, (such as household appliances, automobiles, meters, cash registers, etc.), and are able to communicate with each other independently. (eNET – Telekom)
