Interactive brewing museum in the basement of the City Hall
Interactive brewing museum was opened on Friday in the basement of the City Hall in Szolnok called Sörárium.
At the handover ceremony of the 520 million HUF development, Szalay Ferenc (Fidesz) mayor of Szolnok recalled that when the Turks seized the castle in Szolnok, there was a brewery in the town, which was not destroyed by the invaders, and even in 1722 three plants were operating in the town. Since then Szolnok had a local beer even until the 1960s.
