Kaufland works on innovative and sustainable packaging solutions
Last year German retailer Kaufland modified the packaging of many private label products to save resources, in line with its belief that as a food retailer it must take responsibility for its ecological footprint. As part of its recycling efforts, Kaufland recently introduced “fix bags” made from a combination of plastic, aluminium and paper. The bottles of K-Classic scouring cream and toilet cleaner now contain 99% recycled materials instead of the former 50%.
