Every year, more and more nail technicians and their clients are affected by allergies and irritations caused by the materials they use. All this can significantly complicate everyday work. The product line that won the Inno d’Or – Innovation of the Year award this year is a solution to this problem.

The award, awarded by a 32-member independent professional jury, is not only a recognition of the development work, but also an important milestone for the domestic and international beauty industry: it sends the message that safety, premium quality and environmentally conscious thinking go hand in hand.

“The jury of the event, organized by Trade magazin, was looking for developments that not only follow but also shape market trends. The Sensitive product line embodies just that: it offers a solution to a burning professional problem, how a nail technician can work without allergens, irritations and compromises,”

emphasized Péter Szabó, marketing manager of Mystic Nails Hungary.

What does the company’s philosophy mean in practice?

Mystic Nails believes that the process of product development and brand building must also include a commitment to the environment and society.

“96% of our products are vegan, meaning they do not contain any animal-derived ingredients. We only work with certified suppliers who produce the raw materials without animal testing and in accordance with the strictest regulations. This is not only a rule, but also a conviction, as the Mystic Nails team itself is animal-friendly. In the spirit of environmental awareness, we have equipped the production site and the warehouse with solar energy, we collect waste selectively, and we use electric scooters for internal site transportation, thus reducing harmful emissions. In addition, sustainability plays a prominent role in our packaging: the space-filling materials are 100% biodegradable, and we also use air cushions suitable for composting, and the boxes are not only recycled, but also recyclable, thus preventing the cutting down of nearly 40 trees per year. The boxes are sealed with paper-based adhesive tape, and thanks to the self-closing design “We use 84% less glue,”
