The European Union sets thousands of free internet access points up
Political agreement has been reached by the EU institutions on the so-called WiFi4EU initiative, which will create thousands of free internet access points for 2020 on the continent, the European Commission announced on Tuesday.
According to the agreement between the European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament, 120 million euros will be allocated to the program, in which free Wi-Fi network will be set up in public spaces, hospitals, libraries, parks and other locations in 6-8 thousand settlements.
