The busiest season of the year starts in stores
The busiest season of the year will start in stores, with the biggest rush expected between 20-23 December – the MTI surveyed store chains told.
Auchan expects sales growth of 5 percent in December, compared to the same period of last year, the same as last year’s expansion, the company told MTI in a statement. In December, sales tend to be nearly 70 percent higher and the value of purchases might be 30 percent higher than in the rest of the year. The last month of the year accounts for about 15 percent of the company’s total annual sales. (MTI)
