Conctactles payment starts in Europe

French hypermarket chain to trial contactless payment of MasterCard Europe.

Normal the PayPass technology is used by shopping under 25 euro, but this card could make the payment 40% faster at the cashier in hypermarkets too. If the summa is higher than PayPass card can be used with PIN code.

There was a publishing of the PayPass card in Hungary too, but nowadays there isn't any retailer using the technology in Hungary.
