The 16th Transylvanian Santa Claus tour starts this year with a donation of 19 tons
The 16th Transylvanian Santa Claus tour starts on Friday from Dunaföldvár. 19 tons of donations will be distributed to the seventy-two settlements in Transylvania in the first week of December – the organizers informed MTI.
The summary recalls that the charity first started sixteen years ago from Szekszárd to the orphanages of Böjte Csaba, in Déva and Szászváros. At that time, the cars were packed with relatives, friends’ donations. As the orphanage network grew, so did the Santa Claus team and the amount of donations. (MTI)
