The Pálinka Country tasting to be launched

The pálinka houses can enter to the Pálinka Ország kóstoló (Pálinka Country tasting) competition until 7 March. As the result of the challenge, the Book of Pálinka Excellences can be created until 1 May – Fazekas Sándor Minister for Rural Development and Chairman of the Hungarikum Committee announced a the pálinka museum in Visegrád on Monday.

The goal of the program announced by the committee is to collect the samples of the excellent pálinkas and to promote them both domestically and abroad – explained the Minister.

Fazekas Sándor added that the goal is to try to start every pálinka houses at the contest, and the completed book to reflect the entire pálinka field. (MTI)
