NAK TechLab’s large-scale enterprise-startup program launches
The National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) is launching the NAK TechLab large-company-startup program for the seventh time. The program aims to enable startups and leading industry players to jointly develop innovative solutions to the most pressing problems in agriculture. The key partners for 2025 are AXIÁL Kft. and the Bonafarm Group.
The NAK TechLab program connecting large companies and startups is at the forefront of the digitalization of the agricultural sector in Hungary – the innovation challenges of AXIÁL Kft. and the Bonafarm Group not only bring technological development, but also strengthen the long-term competitiveness of agriculture. The program combines the creativity of startups, the expertise of large companies and professional support in order to ensure that Hungarian agriculture and the food industry can continue to develop in the coming years.
The significance of the program lies in the fact that it forms a bridge between domestic agriculture and technological innovators. It creates an environment where real industry players seek solutions to specific problems by involving startups. Startups develop solutions not only for theoretical but also for practical challenges, for which large companies provide resources and expertise, and validate the startups’ solutions, thus the developments are utilized faster in agriculture.
AXIÁL Kft. is looking for developments that specifically increase the efficiency of large-scale arable crop production by simplifying, automating or reducing the costs of a mechanized subtask
The Bonafarm Group expects artificial intelligence and image recognition-based solutions in several areas, including: developing a decision support system for plant protection interventions; automated animal health monitoring on cattle farms, or for example effective pest and bird alarms, but also solutions for preventing vole invasion are also welcome.
