K&H’s own TikTok channel is launched, focusing on mobile banking
K&H’s official TikTok channel was one of the first banks to launch in mid-August, which will initially feature videos showing the functions available in the mobile bank.
In line with digitization trends, K&H has stepped in again: after advertising here for a long time, on August 15, the financial institution launched its own channel on TikTok, which initially features content about the mysteries of mobile banking. It was not by chance that K&H chose mobile banking functions for the content appearing on the TikTok channel. More and more people are using the financial institution’s mobile bank. The mobile banking application is so successful that the number of users has doubled since 2020. The popularity of the mobile bank is also contributed by the fact that, in addition to financial matters, non-banking services are also available in the application.
“Through different situations, we show Tiktok users how many different functions help those involved in managing their everyday finances. Today, TikTok is not only a channel for the youngest, and we can no longer only see teenagers dancing and applying make-up on it. We like to be pioneers in appearing on different platforms, so we were among the first to appear as a financial institution on Tinder and Snapchat, and we were the first to advertise outside of the sector on Reddit. We have been advertising on TikTok since 2019, and now another stage of this is the launch of our own channel. Our new mobile application also provided a great opportunity to enter the platform, and according to our plans, 2-3 new videos will appear here every week,”
said Nóra Horváth Magyary Voljč, K&H’s communications director.
