The Courier European Championship starts in Budapest
Budapest hosted the European Courier Championship over the weekend. At the event held in Graphisoft Park, the 243 competitors, including 32 Hungarian competitors – 13 of them representing Wolt Magyarország Kft. – competed in skill and speed races.
The last time 13 years ago, in 2010, Hungary was the host of the Courier European Championships, now couriers from all over Europe flocked to Budapest again: for example, from Basel, Berlin, Vienna, Brussels, Copenhagen, Riga or Wroclaw. The purpose of the four-day series of events was to provide space for the connection of courier communities – this initiative was also supported by Wolt Magyarország Kft. Although the couriers not only had to deal with skill tasks and each other during the weekend races, but also with the 35-degree heat, the event remained lively and in a good mood throughout, as the pictures prove.
