This is the first retail chain to accept cryptocurrency payments
In a move that brings the future of payment processes to their everyday transactions, LuLu Hypermarkets across Bahrain have become the first retail outlet in the Kingdom to accept cryptocurrency payments as of today.

Bahraini customers are happy with the news
An agreement to facilitate acceptance of Debit and Credit cards along with the latest & most innovative method which is cryptocurrency payments was signed between LuLu Group’s Director Mr. Juzer Rupawala and the Eazy Financial Services Founder and CEO Mr. Nayef Tawfiq Al Alawi.
Customers at LuLu can simply purchases & use EazyPay POS machines at checkout to pay in cryptocurrency using their Binance App.
“The world is moving rapidly towards digital and cryptocurrency payments and LuLu has worked hard to be the first to offer this convenience to our customers,” Mr. Rupawala said, “The service gives customers increased financial freedom and makes for a more streamlined and efficient financial back office for us. This revolutionary service has the blessing of the CBB and is secure all the way through.”
