Illegal meat plant was dismantled in Érd
Inspectors seized more than four tons of meat products at a butcher shop in Érd. The authorities have closed the business due to irregularities – the Pest County Government Office told MTI on Tuesday.
The Food Chain Safety and Animal Health Directorate of the Pest County Government Office held an inspection in the store on 20 March and found that even the basic hygiene requirements were not complied with the standards. For example, there was no hand washing, utensil disinfection equipment, the cooling chamber did not operate and the tracking of products was not provided – the agency added. (MTI)
