Tax exemption on the home distillation of pálinka was filed at the European Court of Justice

Tax exemption on the home distillation of pálinka was registered at the European Court of Justice. In the case, the European Commission has launched infringement proceedings against Hungary – the Luxembourg-based EU judicial forum announced on Thursday.

It has not yet been decided when the issue will be discussed.

The EU’s proposing-implementing institution decided on 21 February to cite Hungary to the European Union Court of Justice, due to the tax exemption on home-distilled pálinka. (MTI)
