This is how the beach admissions at Lake Balaton have changed compared to last year
The Balaton beach season has officially begun, and according to the overview of pénezcentrum.hu, prices for beach tickets have increased in many settlements. The extent of the price increases varies, in some places the prices have increased by only a few hundred forints, in others by up to 50 percent.
In Balatonvilágos, the municipality implemented a significant 50 percent increase in the price of adult daily tickets, which thus increased to HUF 1,200. Pensioners and students pay HUF 1,000, children aged 3-6 pay HUF 800, while a family ticket costs HUF 3,500. After 5 p.m., all tickets are available at half price, while the Municipal Free Beach remains free.
In Balatonfüred, the ticket prices of Esterházy and Kisfaludy Beaches, operated by Probio Zrt., have also increased: admission to Esterházy Beach has increased to HUF 2,250, and Kisfaludy Beach to HUF 1,900.
