This is how the parking order is changing at some PENNY stores
PENNY pays special attention to the comfort of its customers, which includes the easy access and accessibility of the store parking lots by car. In order to maintain this, the company has introduced paid parking for stays of more than one hour in certain stores. The good news, however, is that customers can still park their cars in the parking spaces of the chain’s stores free of charge for the duration of their purchases.
Recently, more and more customers have reported that vehicles left in the parking lot of some PENNY stores, arriving for non-purchasing purposes, make it impossible for customers to park. In order to eliminate this, in consultation with experts, the company has come to the decision to introduce paid parking for more than one hour in the parking lots of the affected stores. However, it is important to emphasize that PENNY customers can park free of charge for an additional 1 hour by presenting the proof of purchase block on site. Based on the company’s surveys, visitors to PENNY can comfortably shop during this time without incurring any additional costs.
“PENNY, as before, in the current situation and will continue to keep its customers’ needs in mind first and foremost. To this end, we also investigate all reports and complaints that endanger customers’ free parking options. If time regulation of free parking becomes justified at a given store, in that case the company will consider the possibilities of the restriction. At the moment, however, we are not planning to introduce the time-limited parking system at the parking lots of any of our other stores in the area.”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, PENNY’s head of communications in Hungary.
