This is how Hungarians played in 2021: despite the pandemic, more people bought in person in Hungarian malls than online
In 2021, despite the pandemic, Hungarians made more personal purchases in Hungarian malls, and most of them visited shopping malls for more than just traditional shopping, according to a non-representative survey conducted by Indotek Group. The real estate market company with the largest plaza portfolio in Hungary examined the shopping and visiting habits of 16 shopping malls in its portfolio. The survey examined, among other things, the frequency of visits, the amount of time spent, the distribution between online and in-person shopping, and alternative shopping locations.
