From February 1, 2021, the former Szent István University will continue to operate as a foundation and under a new name, the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences – writes agrarszektor.hu.

On January 4, 2021, the Minister of Innovation and Technology appointed members of the foundation’s board of trustees who said at their introductory press conference that they want to make the newly established agricultural university to be one of the best, if not the best, institutions in Central Europe in ten years.
