Varieties of wine

Wines, more specifically, varieties of wine (i.e., chardonnay, pinot noir, etc.) have certain indigenous fruit characteristics associated with their aromas and flavors. Take chardonnay for example. This varietal wine is often perceived as having tropical fruit and citrus characteristics. For the average wine consumer (and some “experts” who’ll never admit it), recognizing these fruit aromas and/or flavors can be challenging. Enter the Jelly Bean Wine Bar.

Through the wonderful world of tiny fruit-flavored jelly beans, and varying combinations thereof, the Jelly Bean Wine Bar treats the palate to a flavor experience second to none. Sample a specific flavor associated with a varietal wine (i.e., a cherry jelly bean to highlight pinot noir’s signature cherry characteristic) or toss back a combination of flavored beans all at once to experience the “total” varietal wine flavor.

How It Works: Each kit contains a “recipe” for a specific varietal/style of wine. We carefully concocted each recipe in the Wine X test kitchens (okay, no cooking was involved, but we tasted a lot of wine to experience the aromas and flavors associated with these wines). Just combine the beans as directed, chew the beans together in your mouth, and voila, you’ll experience the generic flavor(s) associated with the particular wine you’re currently “researching.” You can also taste each flavor bean separately to get a better understanding of the individual flavors associated with certain wine varietals.
All kits listed on this site are ready for immediate delivery, and we’ll be adding more and more kits as time goes on. So keep checking our website for new flavor adventures.
