A police decision has been issued on the conditions of entry and exit of seasonal agricultural workers to Hungary, as well as on the rules of their stay and quarantine at work. In this regard, experts from Deloitte’s Agri-Food Group have gathered practical advices that farmers should keep in mind until the emergency is over.

The decision of the National Chief of Police applies to citizens of neighboring countries as well as non-Hungarian Hungarian citizens who come to Hungary to meet the labor needs of the agricultural sector – Baranyi Gábor Director of the Agricultural and Food Business Unit of Deloitte said. The legislation describes the practical rules for border crossing and workplace quarantine.
