This is how young people created – the awards of the Career in Tourism competition were presented
The Career in Tourism project, launched in 2021 in the joint cooperation of the Hungarian Tourist Agency and the Hungarian Tourism Association, was launched in December with a drawing, photo and video competition for primary and secondary school students under the title Create for tourism. The competition received a record number of entries, a total of 510 students from 146 schools created their creative work in one of the seven topics. The 1-4., 5-8. and 9-12. in the competition announced among first-grade students, not only the participating children, but also their families won valuable prizes related to tourism and hospitality with the successful fieldwork.
At the award ceremony held on February 15, the professionals of the Career in Tourism project announced that they will participate in career days throughout the country in the coming year, and in May they will also organize school “professional taster” days where students can experience first-hand why it is good to work in tourism. . In cooperation with ambassadors who are recognized in the profession, who are constantly joining the project, their goal is to be able to address young people in their own language in every corner of the country, and to make the exciting world of tourism and hospitality tangible and attractive to them. The action is supported by a nationwide social media campaign.
