Ifo: the world economy situation improved in the second quarter
The index reflecting on the state of the world economy has improved in the second quarter – the ifo Institute for Economic Research of the University of Munich announced on Wednesday.
Both the current situation index and the index assessing business prospects for the next six months have improved as well.
The index assessing the current situation increased to 84.1 points in the second quarter of this year, from the 80.4 points of the first quarter.
The six-month forward-looking assessment of the prospects index increased to 108.8 points, from the 107.0 points of the first quarter. (MTI)
