According to the institute’s announcement on Monday, it is typical for roughly half of those under 40 (54 percent) to have canceled their vacation in the last six months – due to cost reduction. More thoughtful and affordable vacation plans are the least common among 15-19-year-olds (46 percent), and most common among 35-39-year-olds (59 percent).
As the level of education increases, the likelihood that vacation ideas will not change increases: 61 percent of those with a basic education and 43 percent of those with a graduate degree have given up their original plans, they wrote.
Based on the results, it can be said that a third of young people under the age of 40 (32 percent) plan to spend at least one week abroad this summer. It is more common for men (36 percent) than for women (27 percent) to plan a vacation abroad.
