Timeless design with Porotherm bricks: Mammut’s new food court opens

The plans were conceived by Paradigma Ariadné Architectural Office. Already during the concept, it was considered that raw ceramic surfaces would be included in the interior space, as ceramic is a timeless, traditional and versatile building material. The texture of this natural material carries aesthetic value in itself, which is why the Porotherm bricks are not hidden, but appear prominently in the space.

One of the spectacular elements of the spacious communal and dining area is the 15-meter, three-story, multifunctional Porotherm brick structure, which also functions as a step, bench and storage, and creatively shows that brick is much more than a traditional masonry material. The additional elements organized around the brick surfaces – the large communal table, the wavy bar table, the traditional metal tables and armchairs, the smaller tables and seating for children, and the large, cylindrical light fixtures – all align with this natural material concept.

The new food court thus creates a high-quality, multifunctional space where the use of materials is the central part of the experience. The exposed Porotherm ceramic walls are traditional, modern and timeless at the same time, and define the fresh image of Mammut.
