Farmers in Szabolcs bid farewell to the year with a time capsule and a special celebration

The farmers in Szabolcs ended the year with a large-scale birthday event with a dinner for nearly 200 people. The family-friendly event featured performances by actor Sándor Badár and the Bürkös Orchestra, and the Tüzvirág Ensemble provided the welcome drink. In addition, the Nyírség agricultural company also placed a time capsule on the occasion of its 25th birthday.

Nyír-Chem Kft. was founded by Dr. Anikó Gerda and József Tölgyfa in 1999, but by now the company has grown into one of the leading pesticide and fertilizer traders in Dél-Nyírség and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties. The company initially specialized in pesticide distribution, and in 2003 it expanded to include fertilizer and seed trading. In 2010, gardening products were added to the product range, and in 2015, the distribution of BIO products was launched.

As part of this, not only should different age groups get closer to a more sustainable and healthier life, but we, as an agricultural enterprise, must also make a meaningful contribution to this”
