This year there will be no new Auchan because of the crisis tax
Over the past year, without its gas stations Auchan’s gross turnover was 225 billion HUF – said Jean-Paul Filliat, manager of the company, at a press conference today.
Auchan Hungary last year paid almost 11 million euros crisis tax, but if the turnover expansion plans will materialize, this amount may excess 12 million euros. If the government had not been introduced the crisis tax, a new store would had been opened this year. The company hopes that next year they will succeed – said the CEO – reports Világgazdaság Online.
