Mall developments to increase with a quarter this year
In 2012 the new shopping center developments are expected to exceed last year's level by 25 percent, to fulfill the retail trade’s demands for modern retail spaces – shows CB Richard Ellis’ latest research findings.
In the first half of 2012 a total of 51 shopping centers ie 1.5 million square meters of shopping place was opened in Europe, while in the second half nearly 3 million square meters will be handed over. The completed buildings will have a total space of more than 4.4 million square meters which is 25 percent higher than the level of 2011. (portfolio.hu)
