This year, you no longer have to pay social contribution tax on the fringe benefit transferred to the SZÉP card, according to the published new government decree – privatbankar.hu wrote.

The tax advantage of the SZÉP card has been undisputed so far, and according to the published government decree, the social contribution tax on the cafeteria element will be waived by the government not until 30 June 2020, but until 31 December. This will reduce the total tax burden on the card from 32.5 percent to 15 percent by the end of the year.
