The amount of the Farm Development Program has doubled this year

The total amount of the Farm Development Program was doubled compared to last year to 2.4 billion HUF in 2019 – the Deputy Minister State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told at a professional forum on Thursday in Nyíregyháza.

Viski József responsible for Rural Development Programs recalled that in Hungary there are currently about 300,000 people living in remote areas, ie small villages, enclosed gardens or farms. The government launched this program to improve their living conditions in 2011. (MTI)
