This year we started shopping earlier for Christmas and are thinking more about options
We are in the Advent season, but in previous years this did not mean that people started buying Christmas presents – yet it seems that this year there are more people who are already browsing for gifts online and in stores, and even many people look around more carefully before buying than before. In a joint research by Bónusz Brigád and GKID, they investigated how we shop this year, how are our habits different compared to previous years?

People spend more time deciding what to buy
Well, it seems that many people are racing against time: more than a quarter (27%) of the 1,339 internet users who participated in the research feel that due to the continuous price increases, they should start shopping earlier, so that they may be able to get the gifts they want at a better price. This year, nearly a third of the respondents said that they are much more careful when assessing the options than before, and even use price comparison sites to buy gifts at the best price. Economic conditions have an impact on Christmas shopping habits – only a tenth of respondents do not plan to change their purchasing habits related to the holiday, despite the circumstances.
