This year, at least 26 percent of income will be spent on food
According to the survey of GfK Hungária, the spending on food and luxury items, from net income can increase to 26-26,5 percent this year, from last year's 25 percent.
Kozák Ákos,executive director of GfK Hungária pointed out: In Hungary, the expenditure structure of the developed economies do not move into the direction of the structure of developed economies because the largest items of expenditure are still food and luxury products, while the households spend 23 percent of income for housing. The Executive Director emphasized that the households in 2009 respond to the economic situation with retail-relevant consumption expenditure – reports MTI-Eco.
