The safety of Christmas seasonal food products has improved this year
The examination of the Christmas seasonal foodsis coordinated by teh National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH). This year’s experiences are better than last year’s – Zsigó Róbert, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for Food Chain Surveillance told on Thursday at a press conference in Budapest.
Until mid-December 2687 investigations were carried out. The inspectors warned the dealers 32 times, in 70 cases a total of 12.2 million HUF fines were implemented – the Minister of State described the data. The investigation will take olace throughout December. (MTI)
