The series of Happy Week events for primary school students and preschoolers will be held again this year, to promote water consumption – the National Institute for Pharmacy and Food (OGYÉI) informed MTI.
The ten-week thematic week that will be held between 18 and 22 March is designed to raise awareness to the importance of water consumption among children, that the body needs two liters of fluid per day to maintain physical and mental health, and that excessive consumption of sugar drinks is already a problem in childhood and can lead to obesity and tooth decay.
