The convoy of 20 trucks passed through downtown Budapest with more than 60,000 kilos of cargo. The donation was offered by food manufacturers and distributors.
The aim of the initiative is to direct the attention of the governmental, corporate and civil spheres, as well as the population, to the food problems affecting the majority of humanity. At the same time, it also offers tangible help to the most vulnerable: the campaign’s organizers deliver food donations to tens of thousands of needy people.
“Today’s global crises, the ongoing pandemic, conflicts, climate change, inflation and international tensions all have a serious impact on food security. More than 800 million people are hungry worldwide, and their number is rising sharply, so there is a greater need than ever before. for the cooperation of governments, companies, civil organizations, and the awareness and support of the population”
– drew attention to the initiators.
