Lounge Group tops the professional lists again this year
The Lounge Group once again topped several key areas in this year’s Apex and M-Lista professional rankings. The agency group took first place in the BTL/Event and PR lists, second in the HR list, third in the media agency rankings, and eleventh among advertising agencies. The results do not only indicate the success of a single campaign, but also that the group of companies consistently delivers outstanding professional performance in several areas of communication.
The results achieved in the rankings mostly confirm the operating method in which the joint work of the various communication disciplines – PR, media, creative, event planning and content production – is implemented in an integrated manner.
“We earned the vast majority of our professional awards in 2025 at the international level. We are particularly proud that we have received the Grand Stevie award for the “Most Awarded Marketing Agency” of the American International Business Awards for the second time. It is important that the feedback is not only about our work, but also about whether the PR-driven approach based on strategic thinking really works in the long term”
– said Péter Mamusits, CEO of Lounge Communication, who won a total of 32 domestic and international awards with his team in 2025. According to him, PR is now an independent, business and reputation strategic area, and in addition to campaigns, we need to think about longer-term reputation building and complex communication solutions, problems and challenges instead of tools.
The first place in the BTL/Event list is due to numerous large-scale projects in recent years. In recent years, Lounge Event has participated in the implementation of the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, the Papal Visit, the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad, the Olympic Qualification Series, as well as several significant domestic and international events.
“True strength lies in shared dedication, hard work, and flexibility,” emphasized Wolf Dia, CEO of Lounge Event. “These awards show us that what we do is not only visible, but also creates real value and stands up to international standards,” he emphasized. “The long-term, consistent operation behind the podium position achieved in the field of media planning and media buying is also due to long-term, consistent operation.” “The results confirm that the consistent work of recent years, and the operation in which we respond to the needs of clients quickly, accurately and at a high professional level, can bring lasting professional results even in headwinds,” said Krisztina Hidvégi, CEO of New Land Media. He added that the issue of credibility is becoming an increasingly important factor in the media market.
“Advertising noise is constantly increasing, while consumers are becoming more critical. In the future, it is not only the accuracy of reach or targeting that matters, but also the degree to which the consumer trusts the media channel.”
The communications industry is clearly moving towards integrated operation: strategy, creative thinking, media solutions and experience-based communication operate less and less as separate services, and more and more as part of a system. Customers now expect solutions to complex problems, preferably from a single source, and expect systems in which the different communication areas work in a mutually reinforcing manner.
“One of the greatest strengths of the group of companies is precisely the fact that these areas of expertise truly come together. When a creative, media or event issue arises, the solution is often just a few doors away. This allows us to provide our customers with real, complex communication solutions rather than separate services,”
– said Gyula Balásy, founder and owner of Lounge Group.
However, the successes do not only reflect the operation of the group of companies, as several of Lounge Group’s partners also achieved outstanding results in this year’s client rankings, including MVM, Magyar Posta, Bolt, HungaroControl and Budapest Airport.
