The website of the Budapest Transport Center was awarded in two categories in the Hungarian Marketing Association’s “Website of the Year” competition: bkk.hu won the quality award in the “service” category, while it won the “Website of the Year” title in the “local governments” category.

The goal of bkk.hu is to provide all important information about Budapest’s transport quickly, transparently and in a clear manner, whether it is about timetables, traffic changes or the company’s operations.

The website, which receives several million visitors a year, is continuously being developed by BKK, with the aim of making it easy for passengers and interested parties to navigate the capital’s transport system. The current awards confirm that BKK’s website is a high-quality online platform not only in terms of content, but also in terms of user experience and functionality, with the help of which occasional travelers, regular season ticket holders, professional interested parties and tourists can find out more about public transport in the capital more easily and consciously.

Ágnes Diószegi, BKK’s Deputy CEO for Customer Relations and Sales, said in connection with the awards that the company will continue to pay special attention to ensuring that its online platforms are modern and easily accessible to customers.
