Harvest began weeks earlier this year
The harvest of arable crops this year has started more than a few weeks earlier because of the extremely hot weather – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture told after the Harvest Coordination Committee’s meeting on Thursday.
This year, 1.67 million hectares of winter wheat will be harvested. About 1 million tonnes of crop has already been transported to the warehouses from 250,000 hectares – Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State added. (MTI)
