The sales of tablets decreased globally
According to the most recent projections of the International Data Corporation (IDC) IT and telecommunications market research company, the world market of tablets is shrinking higher than previously projected.
Separately, IDC revised its tablet shipment forecast, calling for shipments to fall 8 percent year over year versus an earlier prediction of a 3.8 percent decline.
According to the latest projections, this year 212 million tablets will be sold on the world market, including models with detachable keyboards, that can be used as notebook computers (2-in-1). (MTI)
