This year, the majority of the employees decided to give SZÉP card and cash
Although the majority of employers have retained the cafeteria items offered in the previous year, the SZÉP card has become a priority because of its tax advantage, and the cash payment accounts for 94 percent of the total cafeteria benefits – according to the latest summary of BDO Hungary.
The survey sent to MTI summarizes this year’s decisions of thousands of employees, all of whom are employees of companies that use BDO’s cafeteria consulting services.
Compared to last year’s 38 percent, the share of the SZÉP card within the total value of cafeteria allowances increased to 54 percent this year.
